New build solutions for residential projects

Heating and cooling can account for a large share of the total energy consumption in residential buildings. In new build it is therefore essential to create synergy between the various rooms, or even between apartments in a block. This will increase efficiency during the building process as well as in the user phase. In residential buildings it is therefore important to install user-friendly solutions that allow for sufficient flexibility. In case of homes that are in constant use this is often a radiator system. Residential new builds that are used for holiday homes can benefit from a system with electric radiators or fan coil units.

Just like housing projects, new build residential apartments need to ensure comfortable and healthy living for all occupants. That means in both the common and private areas, but also in the individual rooms within the apartments. A heating system with zone temperature control can then be a good solution as this helps to optimise both comfort and energy efficiency in all rooms.

Demands for more energy-efficient and eco-friendly residential heating and cooling solutions are increasing and will only continue to grow. Occupants of course want to enjoy optimal indoor comfort but they are also keen to minimise their energy bills and make their home less expensive to run. Heat pump technology offers a very interesting solution for the residential market in this respect as it can be used in autonomous systems and in centralized systems.

If a heat pump or another low temperature heat source is installed, various compatible options are available within our range. These include both our radiant heating systems, such as underfloor heating, but also hydronic panel radiators, fan convectors such as the iVector S2 or ultra-low temperature radiators such as the Ulow E2.

To enjoy all the benefits of selected heating system it needs be properly controlled. For both individual and centralised systems we offer various control options. We are very much aware that in case of a centralised system, heat metering is essential. In such cases we pay close attention to user privacy by providing certified measurement systems that allow only the user and the facilities manager of the property to access the reading of their consumption.
