Ulow-E2 heat pump radiator

Perfect for low-temperature systems. The Ulow-E2 ensures sufficient heat output when system temperatures drop.

A heat pump with radiators: the perfect renovation duo

Whether renovating an entire building or tackling only the heating system, heat pumps offer a very flexible and future-proof renovation solution. However, a heat pump system can only operate efficiently if all components, ie. heat generator, emitters and controls, are fully aligned. In new build a heat pump is often combined with radiant heating, yet (ultra) low temperature radiators also make a perfect pair with a heat pump. This increases options for new buildings but is especially interesting for renovation projects where radiators were originally installed.

At Myson we are heat pump ready and happy to help you set up an intelligent low temperature heating system. This can easily be achieved with our Ulow-E2 heat pump radiator, for example. It uses in-built fans to give forced heating convection and produces heat outputs up to 60% more than traditional radiators. With the help of our practical heat output calculator, you can quickly determine the right size to ensure optimal indoor climate comfort.

Why combine a heat pump with radiators?

Don't forget the radiators when replacing the heat source

If installing a heat pump is currently difficult due to practical or budgetary restraints, a new boiler with modern radiators is also a great renovation duo that allows you to switch to low temperature heating and already save a significant amount of energy.

In either case, boiler replacement or installation of a heat pump, the system temperatures drop and old radiators are often unable to provide the required heat output. At this point it’s vital to also re-evaluate and replace the radiators, if necessary. Only a heating system in which all components are perfectly matched can function optimally and can help save up to 30% energy
